Kuala lumpur: The Election Commission (EC) is making final checks to ensure that the early voting process for the 16th Negeri Sembilan State Election at 38 polling centres tomorrow runs smoothly. EC chairman Datuk Seri Ramlan Harun said all requirements and equipment for the early voting process have been prepared and are ready to ensure voting proceeds in an orderly manner as planned. "The EC is fully prepared to carry out the early voting process tomorrow. It involves 16,884 military personnel and their spouses, as well as 5,455 police personnel and their spouses," he said when contacted by Bernama today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, a Bernama check at several early polling centres, including the Seremban District Police Headquarters, Negeri Sembilan Contingent Police Headquarters and Kem Segenting in Port Dickson, found EC staff carrying out finishing touches. Police and military personnel were also observed helping EC staff at the voting areas, deployed according to their designated channels.
