Seremban: The Negeri Sembilan government has been actively promoting opportunities for women to assume strategic roles across various sectors, including village leadership, local authorities, the public sector, and state administration.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun emphasized the importance of women voicing public concerns on critical issues such as education, healthcare, housing, and the environment. He noted that women’s leadership contributes empathy, transparency, and diligence to governance.

Aminuddin made these remarks during the launch of Wanita MADANI Inspirasi (WADANI) Negeri Sembilan. He stressed that the role of women as educators and influencers of future generations must be reinforced, as they are primary educators within families and communities.

He further pointed out that WADANI should recognize women as social drivers and community activists, highlighting their vital role in fostering change by engaging with the community, raising awareness, and fostering attitude shifts beyond merely providing assistance.

The Menteri Besar expressed hope that WADANI would empower women with communication and empathy skills, enabling them to effectively convey messages, listen, and respond sensitively to societal issues. Aminuddin also envisioned WADANI as a platform to elevate women as community leaders.

He concluded with a vision of seeing the women of Negeri Sembilan lead social change, empower families, drive community economies, and serve as a moral pillar in today’s challenging times.
