Penang: The Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC) is set to host its prominent financial literacy workshop, ‘My Money and Me’, in Penang on 26 April 2025. The event will take place at the Penang Golf Club from 8.00 AM to 1.00 PM, beginning with a welcome address by Mr Charles Tan Swee Choon, Chairman of the MFPC Penang Chapter. The workshop will be officially inaugurated by YB H’ng Mooi Lye, a Penang Executive Council member responsible for Local Government, Town and Country Planning.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the annual workshop is coordinated by MFPC in collaboration with strategic partners, aiming to equip Malaysians with vital personal financial knowledge and practical skills to secure financial stability. This initiative aligns with the OECD Global Money Week 2025 theme, ‘Think Before You Follow, Wise Money Tomorrow’, which underscores the significance of financial awareness and security amid the backdrop of digital advancement and swift economic transformations.
