Accra:The Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) is collaborating with authorities to address videos circulating on social media that allegedly show a Muslim individual engaging in a non-Islamic religious ritual.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Minister Dr. Zulkifli Hasan emphasized the seriousness with which the department is treating the situation, noting that the videos include acts of worship and the use of specific incantations inconsistent with Islamic practices.
The department is coordinating with authorities to scrutinize, investigate, and take further action as per legal provisions. The government is committed to maintaining the sanctity of the Islamic faith and will not tolerate practices that deviate from it.
Dr. Zulkifli stated that any actions taken will be based on factual investigations to ensure justice and social harmony.
