Kuala Terengganu: Former Sri Pahang FC winger Muhamad Baqiuddin Shamsudin has officially joined Terengganu FC (TFC). The announcement was made by the management of Terengganu Football Club Sdn Bhd (TFCSB) through TFC’s official Facebook page today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, TFC acting chief executive officer Mohd Syahrizan Mohd Zain confirmed that the 31-year-old player is the first new signing for TFC for the 2025/2026 season. Muhamad Baqiuddin is set to don the number 77 jersey and will commence training with the team on July 1.

Mohd Syahrizan stated that Baqiuddin’s addition is anticipated to provide options to vary the team’s attack pattern, thanks to his agility and speed. The acting CEO also expressed hopes that the 1.65-meter-tall player will contribute to strengthening the team’s defence.

In addition to Muhamad Baqiuddin, there are rumors that another former player from the Elephants may be joining TFC this season.
