Muara Tuang: The various categories of the Armed Forces Family Housing (RKAT) project at Muara Tuang Camp are now expected to be completed ahead of schedule this year, earlier than the initial target of February 2026. Deputy Works Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan announced that the 11.45-hectare project, with a contract value of RM116 million, had reached 50.05 percent completion as of March 25.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the target completion date was originally set for February 2026. However, there is potential for the project to be completed ahead of schedule, possibly by the end of this year. Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan shared this update with reporters following his visit to the project site.
The residential quarters project involves the construction of 190 housing units of various categories. It will also include essential facilities such as a surau and a nursery. The Public Works Department (JKR) is responsible for overseeing the design and construction of the project.
