Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) will organise an open day in conjunction with its 25th anniversary celebration on August 2, 2025, at MPOB headquarters in Bangi, Selangor. The event will take place simultaneously in seven locations, including MPOB research stations in Kluang, Keratong, Bagan Datuk, Hulu Paka, Lahad Datu, Sessang, and the MPOB Sabah regional office in Kota Kinabalu.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the open day is themed ‘Oil Palm for All’, reflecting an inclusive and sustainable oil palm ecosystem that contributes to the country’s economic growth. The theme emphasizes the relevance of the oil palm industry to all levels of society, regardless of age, background, or social status, demonstrating that all Malaysians can enjoy its benefits.
The MPOB open day aims to raise public awareness of the latest advancements in the oil palm industry, including achievements in research, innovation, and services, as well as MPOB’s success throughout its 25 years of establishment. The event targets participation from all segments of society with a wide range of engaging activities, including MPOB innovation exhibitions, health checks, sports, games, and lucky draws.
