Kangar:A motivational speaker, who was held in custody for two days to assist with an investigation into an alleged sexual harassment case, has been released on police bail.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Perlis police chief DCP Hamzah Hashim confirmed that the investigation papers have been submitted to the Deputy Public Prosecutor for further direction.

The 33-year-old man was initially remanded from Monday following a police report filed against him on October 3. There have been additional reports, including one involving a 19-year-old female complainant. The case is being investigated under various sections, including Section 509 of the Penal Code, Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998, and Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act.

Initially, the man was remanded from Saturday due to a report in Padang Besar. After his release on bail, he was rearrested by officers from the Kangar District Police Headquarters for further action.
