Padang Besar:A motivational speaker has been remanded for two days to aid police in their investigation into alleged sexual harassment involving a child.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Padang Besar district police chief ACP Mohd Shokri Abdullah confirmed the situation when contacted.

Police received a report on September 26 regarding the alleged incident. Perlis police chief DCP Hamzah Hashim stated that the case is being investigated under Section 12 of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017.

He also encouraged other potential victims who have interacted with the motivational speaker to come forward and file police reports.
