Kuala Lampur:More than half of business travelers plan and manage their own internet access when traveling for work, as revealed in Holafly's 2026 Summer Travel and eSIM Report.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the report shows that 53.4 percent of business travelers arrange their own connectivity. This includes using hotel or airport Wi-Fi, mobile roaming, or other options upon reaching their destination.
Security is highlighted as the primary connectivity concern for 41.7 percent of business travelers overall. This concern increases to 52 percent among those whose organizations provide them with mobile data. These provisions streamline connectivity decisions for employees, offering a company-approved method to get online immediately and giving businesses more control over the travel experience, according to Alex Bryszkowski, Holafly's Vice-President of B2B and Partnerships.
Holafly stated that these findings indicate connectivity is an integral part of the employee experience and corporate travel arrangements, particularly when organizations supply mobile data directly to employees. The company's business service enables organizations to assign international eSIMs to employees before travel, managing their plans through a central Business Center.
The findings underscore the importance of connectivity arrangements, as international business travel increasingly demands employees have instant access to corporate systems and work resources.
