Monsoon Surge Predicted to Impact Eastern Peninsular Malaysia

Kuala lumpur: A monsoon surge is expected to occur from December 25 to 29, potentially bringing continuous rain to the eastern parts of Peninsular Malaysia.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) director-general Dr. Mohd Hisham Mohd Anip stated that analysis of the latest weather models also indicates strong winds and rough seas over the South China Sea.

Dr. Mohd Hisham further advised the public to stay informed by referring to MetMalaysia's website and social media platforms. He also recommended downloading the myCuaca application for the latest and verified information. The statement was shared on MetMalaysia's Facebook page, highlighting the importance of staying updated during this period.
