Manila: MoneyHero Limited, a personal finance aggregation and comparison platform, has announced a strategic partnership with Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) to integrate RCBC’s credit card offerings into its digital platform in the Philippines. This collaboration is set to allow users to seamlessly browse, compare, and apply for various RCBC credit cards, including rewards, lifestyle, travel, and premium options, through the MoneyHero platform.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the partnership, executed through RCBC’s credit card arm, RCBC Bankard Services Corp, is poised to strengthen MoneyHero’s role as a leading digital acquisition partner in Greater Southeast Asia. It also aims to expand RCBC’s digital distribution channels, providing enhanced access to financial products for Filipino consumers.
MoneyHero Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Rohith Murthy, expressed that the collaboration is in line with the company’s mission to simplify financial choices and deepen market penetration. “By combining MoneyHero’s aggregation technology with RCBC’s credit card portfolio, we are empowering Filipino consumers to make informed financial decisions,” he stated.
In addition, RCBC Credit Cards President and CEO, Arniel Vincent B. Ong, highlighted the bank’s notable growth in its credit card portfolio, reporting a 48 percent rise in receivables and a 21 percent increase in cards in force in 2024. “Our partnership with MoneyHero will further support our digital expansion strategy and enhance accessibility to financial services,” Ong remarked.
The collaboration is designed to boost digital financial inclusion in the Philippines by leveraging technology and customer-focused innovation, ultimately aiming to enhance the financial wellbeing of consumers across the nation.
