Mohd Na’im and Mohamad Sabu Extend Encouragement to SPM 2024 Candidates

KUALA LUMPUR: In a gesture of support, Datuk Dr Mohd Na’im Mokhtar, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department for Religious Affairs, and Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu, Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, have extended their best wishes to candidates partaking in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2024 written examination. The examination, a significant milestone for secondary school students, began today and will conclude on February 6.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Dr Mohd Na’im expressed his sentiments through a Facebook post, where he conveyed his hopes for the candidates’ success and prayed for their well-being. “Best wishes to all students sitting for the SPM. May you be granted good health, calmness and ease in answering the questions perfectly. I pray for your success,” he stated, emphasizing the importance of health and tranquility during the examination period.

Similarly, Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu took to Facebook to offer his encouragement, acknowledging the candidates’ hard work and dedication. He encouraged students to view the examination as a step towards fulfilling their aspirations and emphasized the value of effort and perseverance. “This is the time to showcase the effort, dedication and determination you have poured into your learning journey. Consider this examination a step towards achieving your dreams and a brighter future,” he wrote. He further reminded candidates that success is not solely determined by results but by the efforts invested in their journey.

The SPM examination is a pivotal assessment for students, with 402,956 candidates registered to sit for it this year. Both ministers emphasized the importance of maintaining health and confidence throughout the testing period, reiterating their prayers for the candidates’ success and blessings from Allah SWT.
