Mohammad Azlin Sadari Appointed as New Perak Police Deputy Chief

Ipoh: SAC Mohammad Azlin Sadari, who previously served as the deputy director of the Internal Security and Public Order (Wildlife Crime Bureau) at the Bukit Aman Internal Security and Public Order Department, has been appointed as the Perak police deputy chief, effective today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Mohammad Azlin, aged 52, succeeds DCP Zulkafli Sariaat, who is set to retire mandatorily on June 23. Perak police chief Datuk Noor Hisam Nordin emphasized that Mohammad Azlin’s appointment aligns with the strategic objectives of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) to enhance leadership and maintain public security, particularly within the state of Perak.

Datuk Noor Hisam Nordin expressed his appreciation for Tuan Zulkafli’s extensive service, highlighting his over 40 years of dedication to the police force, including his tenure as the Perak police deputy chief. He welcomed Tuan Mohammad Azlin, noting his roots in Perak, and expressed hope that he would leverage his extensive experience to serve the state and its citizens with integrity. The remarks were made during the official handing over of duties ceremony held today.
