Johor: Voters in Johor need to give Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidates a chance in the state election to enable them to prove that the manifesto launched a few days ago is not just "copy paste" as claimed by the opposing party.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Amanah president Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu stated that if they do not vote for PH candidates in the Johor polls this Saturday, the party will not be able to fulfil all the resolutions contained in the PH manifesto. Mohamad Sabu emphasized that the manifesto was crafted after extensive consultations with the public, aiming to address their concerns and grievances.
Mohamad Sabu, who is also the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, mentioned that the PH manifesto for the Johor polls is an offer that requires implementation to bring about meaningful change. He assured that should PH win the Johor polls, the party would begin executing their plans as early as July 12.
Commenting on the reception of PH candidates and leaders in rural campaigns, Mohamad Sabu noted that there is now a stronger and more positive reception from rural voters compared to 2018. He highlighted the growing familiarity and support for PH in rural areas and villages in Johor.
The polling day for the Johor polls is set for July 11, with early voting for security forces scheduled for tomorrow. For the latest news on the 16th Johor PRN, please visit https://prn.bernama.com/johor/.
