Nilai: National motorcycle maker Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional Sdn Bhd (Modenas), the local assembler of Kawasaki motorcycles, has teamed up with Sendayan Motor Sdn Bhd for the opening of Malaysia’s 10th Kawasaki All Star 4S (Sales, Spare Parts, Showroom, Services) Centre here today. Modenas chief executive officer Roslan Roskan said that since its establishment, Modenas has carried the mission of building Malaysia’s motorcycle industry by providing reliable, affordable and innovative mobility solutions for millions.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Roslan emphasized that the partnership with Kawasaki has introduced advanced technologies and performance machines, enriching the local motorcycle scene with a global brand spirit. He highlighted that with Nilai joining the Kawasaki All Star family, Modenas has now achieved 10 strategic openings across Malaysia, indicating the growing demand for Kawasaki products. Each outlet serves as more than just a sales point, functioning as a hub where riders can connect with the brand, enhancing customer confidence through after-sales service and fostering a Kawasaki lifestyle.
The event was officiated by state executive councillor for local government development, housing, and transport J. Arul Kumar. Other notable attendees included Modenas chief marketing officer Hitoshi Inoue and Sendayan Motor Sdn Bhd director David Goh Lim Jia. He also pointed out the significance of the new outlet being managed by Sendayan Motor Sdn Bhd, a company with deep roots in Negeri Sembilan since 1976, which not only creates business opportunities but also strengthens the local economy by generating jobs and serving the rider community. Meanwhile, Arul Kumar noted that Nilai’s strategic location near the Klang Valley, Melaka, and Johor presents a considerable advantage for the new outlet, potentially acting as a catalyst for the growth of the automotive industry in the region.
