Perak: The Perak Fire and Rescue Department is currently in the process of gathering comprehensive information regarding the disappearance of six hikers who entered the forest from Pos Dakoh, Lojing, Gua Musang on August 29.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad, the assistant director of the Perak Fire and Rescue Department's operations division, reported that the department received information about the incident at 6:31 pm. The operations center is focused on collecting all necessary details about the situation to facilitate coordination with other government agencies for subsequent action.

The families of the missing hikers filed police reports in Selangor after the hikers did not arrive in Pos Kemar, Perak as planned on September 3.
