Search teams looking for missing hiker Nur Izzati Humaira Azizul, who is believed to have gotten lost while descending Bukit Changkat Asa near Tanjong Malim yesterday covered an area of 0.436 square kilometres (sq km) today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Selangor Fire and Rescue Department operations division assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said 76 firefighters, volunteers, and non-governmental organisation (NGO) members, along with two tracker dogs, took part in the search that began at 9 am. "The victim has yet to be found," he stated.

The operations, which were suspended at 6.30 pm, are set to resume at 9 am tomorrow. Nur Izzati Humaira, 19, was last seen descending the hill with five of her friends and family members.
