Kuala lumpur: Malaysian Battalion 850-13 (MALBATT 850-13) personnel currently conducting the peacekeeping mission in Lebanon are always in a state of readiness and prepared for any possibility while carrying out their duties in their areas of jurisdiction.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, a post on the MALBATT 850-13's official Facebook page stated that every personnel is trained to act professionally and with discipline in any situation in line with the principles of peacekeeping operations under the auspices of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
The post emphasized that the preparation encompasses not only tactical aspects but also mental, physical, and spiritual readiness to face challenges during the mission. This approach reflects the team's commitment to ensuring personnel safety, protecting local communities, and maintaining stability in the operational area.
Preparations covering operations, administration, and logistics are conducted periodically by MALBATT 850-13 deputy commander, Lt Col Zain Azrai Karia, Staff Officer 1 Operations, Lt Col Mohd Farid Ahmad, Staff Officer 1 Training Cmdr Rusmanizam Ismail, and Staff Officer 1 Logistics, Lt Col Mohd Suhaimi Abdul Samat. These efforts ensure that all personnel understand and comply with necessary actions for any situation, helping to identify strengths and weaknesses in facing emergencies and supporting the team's contingency plans.
