Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning for thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds affecting several areas in Sarawak and Sabah until 11 am today, as well as the whole of Penang until noon.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the affected areas in Sarawak include Limbang, Miri (Miri and Subis), and Kuching (Lundu and Kuching). In Sabah, the warning covers the West Coast areas of Penampang, Putatan, Papar, Tuaran, Ranau, and Kota Kinabalu, as well as the Interior areas of Membakut, Beaufort, Kuala Penyu, Tambunan, Keningau, and Tenom.
