Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) today issued an advisory on tropical storm Fengshen currently located at approximately 997 km northeast of Kudat, Sabah. In a statement released, MetMalaysia detailed the position and movement of the storm, which is currently about 124 km northwest of Manila City, Philippines, and advancing in a northwest direction at a speed of 30 km/h.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia highlighted that the storm’s maximum wind speed can reach up to 65 km/h. However, the advisory reassures that there is no significant impact or threat to Malaysia at present.
