Kuala Lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds in seven states and the Federal Territory of Putrajaya, effective until noon today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia stated that the warning covers the entire regions of Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Perak, and Selangor, with specific focus on the districts of Sabak Bernam, Kuala Selangor, Klang, Petaling, Kuala Langat, and Sepang.

In addition to these areas, a similar weather warning has been issued for the Federal Territory of Putrajaya, parts of Johor, specifically Batu Pahat and Pontian, as well as Sarawak, involving Mukah (Daro, Matu, Dalat, and Mukah) and Bintulu (Tatau and Bintulu).
