Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued an alert-level continuous rain warning for the East Coast states and Johor. This warning highlights the potential impact of persistent rainfall in these regions, urging residents to prepare for possible weather-related disruptions.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, continuous rain is anticipated in Terengganu and Kelantan, specifically affecting areas such as Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Kota Bharu, Bachok, Machang, and Pasir Puteh. The rain is expected to persist from December 25 to 28, potentially impacting daily activities and transportation in these districts.
Similar weather conditions are forecasted in Pahang, with the areas of Jerantut, Maran, Kuantan, Pekan, and Rompin likely to experience continuous rain. This weather pattern is also expected to affect Johor, including Segamat, Kluang, Mersing, and Kota Tinggi, from December 26 to 29. Residents in these areas are advised to stay informed about weather updates and take necessary precautions to ensure safety.
