Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (Met Malaysia) has issued a thunderstorm, heavy rain, and strong winds warning for Perak, Selangor, and Kuala Lumpur, with the advisory in effect until 7 pm today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Met Malaysia's statement highlighted that in Perak, the districts expected to experience adverse weather conditions include Larut, Matang and Selama, Manjung, Kampar, Hilir Perak, Batang Padang, and Muallim. In Selangor, the areas under warning comprise Hulu Selangor, Gombak, Petaling, and Hulu Langat.
