Kuala lumpur: Mesiniaga Bhd has secured a RM135.58 million contract from the Finance Ministry, excluding government sales and service tax, to provide marking technology, system development services, and comprehensive hardware.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the project involves supplying 2.6 billion markings for cigarette and alcoholic beverage products to the Royal Malaysian Customs Department. The contract is effective from October 1, 2025, and will end on September 30, 2030, with no automatic renewal.

The company stated in a Bursa Malaysia filing that this contract will not affect its share capital and holdings of substantial shareholders. However, it is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings and net assets from the financial year ending December 31, 2026, onwards until the contract expires.
