Meltwater Unveils AI-Powered Mid-Year Product Release

Meltwater: Meltwater, a leader in actionable intelligence, has unveiled its 2026 Mid-Year Product Release, designed to empower organisations to move beyond monitoring to uncover critical signals, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and act with speed and confidence. Meltwater Chief Product Officer, Chris Hackney said teams are entering a new era of narrative intelligence that requires them to understand and act at the speed online narratives develop, adding that the release will help teams move from monitoring to discovery and action faster than ever before.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Meltwater's 2026 Mid-Year Release transforms fragmented media, social, and artificial intelligence (AI) signals into clear and actionable intelligence that organisations can use to make faster and more confident decisions. Users can take control of their AI presence with Meltwater's GenAI Lens, which gives teams greater ability to shape how their brands appear in AI-generated answers through enhancements such as AI-powered recommendations and large language model (LLM)-generated reporting.

In addition, Meltwater's AI assistant, Mira, which has handled more than 1.3 million prompts for customers, is now embedded across media, social, and consumer intelligence workflows with updates including real-time insights and automated Dashboard Creation and Insight Explanation enhancements. The release also delivers deeper intelligence through Trends Center, expanded data coverage, and speech-to-text analysis, with enhancements across social media and news platforms to identify emerging trends, capture broader conversations, and unlock insights from platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.

As reaching the right voices becomes increasingly important in today's landscape, the new AI-powered updates help teams build stronger and more effective relationships with individuals shaping public perception. New capabilities across media relations include Journalist Relevance Matching to identify suitable contacts faster, alongside AI-powered Pitch Personalisation that generates tailored outreach based on journalists' recent coverage and engagement.
