Labuan: Megah Port Management Sdn Bhd (MPM) has reaffirmed its commitment to collaborating with government agencies to ensure that port activities and cargo handling operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements. Its managing director Datuk Seri Patrick Tiong said as Labuan’s leading port operator, the company actively collaborates with various authorities to uphold the highest standards in maritime operations, safety, and environmental sustainability.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, recognising the pivotal role of ports in regional economic growth, Tiong stated that MPM remains dedicated to aligning its operations with national and international regulations. The partnership with the government is fundamental to maintaining a well-regulated and efficient port system. “We continuously engage with relevant authorities to enhance logistics efficiency, security, and compliance,” he remarked at MPM’s annual high tea with government heads at Dorsett Grand Labuan.
