Mega Carnival Featuring KUD, HPF, and SDSI Slated for July 3-7 in Felda

Felda: A mega carnival bringing together the Rural Entrepreneurs Carnival (KUD), FELDA Settlers’ Day (HPF), and the One District One Industry (SDSI) Showcase is scheduled to take place from July 3 to 7, marking the inaugural combination of these significant events.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Federal Land Development Authority (Felda) announced that the mega carnival, uniting three annual events under the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW), will be hosted at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur.

The event is designed as a platform to celebrate the contributions of settlers and showcase local products. It aims to elevate homegrown brands and facilitate their entry into international markets. Under the theme ‘Desaku Mendunia’, Felda envisions this mega carnival as a means to fortify the entrepreneurial ecosystem, enhance market access, and open new avenues for international collaboration.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who also serves as the Minister of Rural and Regional Development, confirmed that the arrangement of the mega carnival was finalized during a coordination meeting he chaired for the implementation of the three events.

Felda has expressed total support for the initiative. Its chairman, Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek, voiced his assurance that this comprehensive approach will yield significant benefits for settlers, rural communities, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) nationwide.

The agency encourages inquiries about participation or involvement in the mega carnival, which can be directed to the HPF Secretariat via email at [email protected].
