Kuala lumpur: Malaysian Boxing Federation Malaysian Boxing Federation (MBF) president Datuk Mohamad Iruan Zulkefli has denied allegations that have gone viral on social media linking him to the issue of asking for money or abusing power. Mohamad Iruan described the allegations as untrue, baseless, and slanderous which could affect his reputation and integrity.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Mohamad Iruan stated, "I have lodged a police report at the Nilai police station today and have handed over the matter to the relevant parties for further action." He emphasized the seriousness of the allegations and his commitment to addressing them legally.
To further address the issue, Mohamad Iruan announced he would hold a press conference tomorrow to provide a detailed explanation and clarify the truth regarding the allegations. His aim is to clear his name and present his side of the story to the public.
The controversy began when a video went viral on Facebook, featuring a boxing coach who claimed that he was forced to transfer money to PTM every month. This video has prompted widespread attention and speculation, leading to Mohamad Iruan's decisive response.
