Malaysia’s Humanitarian Aid to Palestine Requires Strategic Coordination: PM Anwar

Putrajaya: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has stressed the need for Malaysia’s humanitarian aid plan for Palestine to be meticulously and effectively coordinated to ensure that all assistance is directed towards those who are genuinely in need.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anwar addressed this during a meeting with Malaysia’s civil society network involved in the ‘Ops Ihsan’ and Sumud Flotilla initiatives at the Prime Minister’s Office in Putrajaya. The Prime Minister communicated through a Facebook post that, in light of recent developments in Palestine, he convened with representatives of Malaysia’s civil society network to discuss the coordination of immediate humanitarian assistance efforts for Palestine.

Anwar expressed that with wisdom, efficiency, and a robust sense of solidarity, these initiatives will alleviate the suffering of the people of Gaza, while exemplifying the compassion and humanitarian spirit of Malaysians towards the Palestinian cause.
