Malaysia Secures RM432.18 Million in Export Sales at Saudi Build 2025

Riyadh: The Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) has successfully secured export sales totaling RM432.18 million at the 35th Saudi Build 2025. This substantial achievement includes RM251.26 million from the Malaysia Pavilion and RM180.92 million from business-matching sessions.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Saudi Build exhibition is a prominent event for construction services and building materials in Saudi Arabia, held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre (RICEC). The Malaysia Pavilion, led by MATRADE, featured 16 exhibitors from various construction-related industries, such as building materials, engineering services, smart construction technologies, project management, and energy-efficient solutions. The pavilion’s efforts resulted in total sales of RM251.26 million.

MATRADE emphasized that this initiative reflects Malaysia’s commitment to supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 agenda and strengthening trade and investment ties, particularly in the construction and infrastructure sectors. Saudi Arabia’s dynamic construction market provides Malaysian companies with opportunities to deliver sustainable and innovative solutions aligned with Vision 2030’s transformative projects.

Moreover, throughout the four-day exhibition beginning on November 3, 2025, the Malaysia Pavilion attracted significant interest from regional stakeholders, leading to promising business leads and the identification of mutual interests. Malaysian participants engaged with developers, contractors, consultants, and investors to explore opportunities in Saudi Arabia’s giga and mega projects.

Additionally, MATRADE’s Global Buyers Programme (GBP) complemented the exhibition by bringing international buyers from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Nigeria, and Senegal. Business-matching sessions during the event generated RM180.92 million in total sales, opening potential export opportunities for Malaysian participants.

MATRADE’s participation in Saudi Build 2025 aligns with its strategic efforts to expand Malaysian companies’ presence in high-growth markets within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. Building on this success, MATRADE plans to further promote Malaysian companies through continued involvement in major trade exhibitions and business missions in West Asia, aiming to enhance exports of construction services, building materials, and green technology solutions.
