Kuala lumpur: Malaysia's role on the international stage continues to gain recognition as the vice-president of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Muhammad Al-Hasan Al-Diddu Al-Shanqiti, described the country as playing a unifying role among nations and peoples in the spirit of peace. The matter was conveyed by Sheikh Muhammad Al-Hasan during a meeting with Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at the Prime Minister's Office today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the meeting included discussions on pressing global issues such as war, oppression, and violations of human rights and national sovereignty. Sheikh Muhammad Al-Hasan highlighted Malaysia's commitment not only to its own citizens but also in fostering unity among various countries and communities.

The meeting was part of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Hasan's programme during his visit to Malaysia, underscoring the nation's growing influence and reputation as a peaceful mediator in international affairs.
