Kuala lumpur: Closing off the events of the first day of the 58th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and Related Meetings, Malaysia hosted a Trilateral Meeting with Norway and the ASEAN Secretariat. The meeting took place on 8 July 2025, from 5:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the meeting was co-chaired by Malaysia’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Datuk Mohamad bin Alamin, and Norway’s State Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Andreas Kravik. In his opening remarks, Deputy Foreign Minister Datuk Mohamad bin Alamin expressed his appreciation for the collaboration opportunity with Norway and the ASEAN Secretariat. He also highlighted Norway’s significant partnership with ASEAN, which began in 2015 when Norway became a Sectoral Dialogue Partner.
