Malaysia Cup Final: 60 Pct Of Tickets Sold, Lucky Draw Set To Ramp Up Sale

Kuala Lumpur: Tickets for the 2024/2025 Malaysia Cup final between Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) and Sri Pahang FC are selling like hotcakes, with nearly 60 per cent sold so far. Malaysian Football League (MFL) acting chief executive officer Mohd Shazli Shaik Mohd attributed the encouraging response to the final, to be played at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on Saturday (April 26), to the various announcements and promotions carried out by both teams.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Mohd Shazli noted that the response is also due to MFL’s latest initiative of introducing a lucky draw with prizes such as three motorcycles, three electric scooters, two iPhones, two Apple watches, and two 360 Insta cameras. This initiative aims to encourage more fans to purchase tickets online, as only online buyers are eligible for the lucky draw.

Mohd Shazli emphasized that this extra incentive is hoped to boost ticket sales further. He encouraged supporters of both JDT and Sri Pahang FC to continue purchasing tickets, which are available until match day. The MFL is targeting ticket sales to reach at least 80 per cent for the Malaysia Cup grand finale.
