The win was not only the highlight of the last day of the biennial Games, but also showed the great contributions of the sepak takraw team to the overall performance of the national contingent, he added.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Dr Mohammed Taufiq expressed that the conclusion of the Games was a moment of celebration for Malaysia, emphasizing the pride in finishing the campaign on a high note. He highlighted the success of the men's sepak takraw team in securing the gold medal in the regu event, while the women's team earned a bronze. The minister spoke to reporters after presenting the medals to the national men's team at the Nakhon Pathom Gymnasium Stadium.
