Malaysia Airlines to Temporarily Adjust KL CAT Check-In Services

Kuala lumpur: Malaysia Airlines is making temporary adjustments to its check-in operations at Kuala Lumpur City Air Terminal (KL CAT) in KL Sentral from July 1 to Dec 31, 2026, as part of its efforts to improve the travel experience for passengers.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the national carrier announced on X that passengers are encouraged to complete their check-in via its website or mobile application before travelling. The available services at KL CAT during this period will include self-service check-in kiosks, self-bag drop (SBD) facilities, and a limited assisted check-in counter.

Malaysia Airlines' website specifies that one assisted check-in counter will be operational daily from 6 am to 8 pm. This counter will cater primarily to business class and eligible priority passengers, while also supporting economy class passengers when necessary.

Passengers requiring full check-in assistance are advised to proceed to any check-in counters available at Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 1 (KLIA T1). They are encouraged to arrive at least three hours before departure to ensure ample time for check-in, security screening, and travel document verification.

The airline emphasized its commitment to providing a seamless and efficient travel experience and expressed appreciation for passengers' understanding and continued support during this temporary adjustment period.
