Ipoh: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is actively seeking the whereabouts of Megat Khairul Anuar Sulaiman, 40, who is involved in a case appeal scheduled for its fifth mention at the Ipoh High Court in Perak next Monday.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the MACC issued a statement today highlighting their continued efforts to contact the local man, who was charged under Section 17(a) of the MACC Act 2009. Despite attempts, he remains unreachable.

Authorities have conducted searches at his last known addresses, which include Batu 22½, Jalan Bagan Datoh, 36200 Selekoh, Perak, and Lot 841, Kampung Bunut Payong, 15150 Kota Bharu, Kelantan. Megat Khairul has missed four previous court appearances for case appeal mentions in January, April, May, and June, leading to an arrest warrant issued on June 8, 2026.
