MACC Seeks Assistance from Seven Individuals in False Claims Investigation

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has issued a call for assistance from seven individuals as part of an investigation into alleged false claims under Section 18 of the MACC Act 2009. The request underscores the agency’s efforts to address corruption-related activities within the region.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the MACC has identified the individuals in question as Liang Hwa Keong, 68; Kong Sian Chee, 57; Leong Thien Poh, 63; Ong Chee Heong, 60; Lim Hoon Woon, 48; Teng Wan Peng, 50; and Teng Wan Loong, 51. The commission has provided last known addresses for these individuals, located in the Kuala Lumpur, Rawang, and Sungai Buloh areas, and is seeking public assistance in locating them.

The MACC has urged members of the public who may recognize or possess information regarding these individuals to come forward.
