LTAT and Group Companies Boost Tabung Pahlawan Campaign Support with RM420,000 Contribution

Accra:The Armed Forces Fund Board (LTAT), along with its group companies, has increased its contribution to the 2026/2027 Tabung Pahlawan campaign to RM420,000, marking a 17 percent rise from last year's RM360,000 donation. This contribution was presented by LTAT chairman Gen (Rtd) Tan Sri Azizan Ariffin during the launch ceremony at Wisma Perwira, where the campaign's patron, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, officiated the event.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the ceremony was attended by Defence Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, highlighting the importance of the initiative. The campaign, organized by the Malaysian Armed Forces Veterans Affairs Department (MAF JHEV), aims to support veterans in need, focusing on those who are bedridden, infirm, and from low-income backgrounds.

The Tabung Pahlawan fund is utilized to address the daily needs of these veterans, provide necessary medical equipment, and extend emergency assistance to alleviate their burdens. LTAT, in its statement, emphasized its commitment to enhancing social protection and the well-being of MAF personnel, particularly veterans and their families.

LTAT chief executive Datuk Mohammad Ashraf Md Radzi called on Malaysians, institutions, and the corporate sector to support the campaign, noting that every contribution, regardless of size, can significantly impact veterans in need. Contributions to the campaign can be made to the Tabung Rayuan Hari Pahlawan account at Affin Islamic Bank, account number 1059 5000 3201.
