Kuala lumpur: LPC Group Bhd has made a strong debut on the LEAP Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd today, emerging among the top gainers in early trade. At 11.45 am, the Melaka-based infrastructure and building works company surged 40 sen, or 400 per cent, to 50 sen, with 101,200 shares traded.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, LPC Group director Ching Tai Kuen stated that the listing represents a key milestone for the company as it strengthens its foothold in Malaysia’s expanding construction sector. He noted that this achievement enhances the company’s credibility and opens new opportunities to reinforce its presence in Malaysia’s growing construction landscape.
LPC Group has completed more than 400 projects to date, with a cumulative contract value exceeding RM900 million. These projects involve residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, as well as infrastructure works, primarily in Melaka.
