Kulai: The Shuttle Selatan and Electric Train Service (ETS) operations on the Kulai-Kempas route experienced disruptions today following a power supply outage. This was caused by a lorry transporting flammable liquid that skidded near the railway tracks. According to BERNAMA News Agency, Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) reported the incident in a Facebook post, indicating that train operations on the affected route have been impacted. Efforts are currently underway to clean up the area and repair the power supply to restore normal operations. KTMB has arranged for shuttle bus services at Kulai, Kempas Baru, and JB Sentral stations for ETS passengers affected by the disruptions. Shuttle Selatan passengers have been advised to seek alternative transportation options temporarily, with fare adjustments being offered to those impacted. As of 10.37 pm, KTMB noted that train ETS9449 was delayed by 32 minutes, while ETS9533 faced a 55-minute delay, subject to further operational conditions. KTMB has expressed r egret for the inconvenience caused and urged passengers needing further assistance to contact station staff for help.
