Lagos: Nine projects developed by local property developers managed to win five gold medals and four silver medals at the prestigious FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards 2025 in Lagos, Nigeria last Thursday. Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming said the success proved the potential and high capabilities of local property developers to compete globally.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Housing and Local Government Ministry (KPKT) will continue to recognise and honour the best developers in the country as it reflects the MADANI Government’s aspiration in strengthening local talent and raising Malaysia’s reputation globally. Nga Kor Ming emphasized that the international recognition will directly boost Malaysian property developers’ credibility and reputation, raises investor confidence and creates more opportunities for foreign partnerships and investment.
FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards is recognised as one of the most prestigious awards in the global real estate industry and is dubbed the Oscars of real estate. The projects that won gold medals were The Light Collection IV under the Residential Low Rise Category developed by IJM Land Bhd; Nouvelle Industrial Park @ Kota Puteri Malaysia under the Industrial Category developed by Exsim Group; and Iringan Bayu Wetland Park (Environmental Category), developed by OSK Property Holdings Bhd.
Other gold medal projects include TSLAW Tower (Office Category) developed by TSLAW Land Sdn Bhd, and I-Santorini (Affordable Housing Category) developed by Ideal Property Property Group.
