Gua musang: The letter of acceptance (LOA) for repair works on damaged roads within the Central Spine Road (LTU) project Packages 3B and 3C in Gua Musang will be issued on March 3, announced Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Nanta highlighted the pressing issues of damaged roads and congestion on LTU Packages 3B and 3C during a recent roundtable discussion. He emphasized the seriousness of the situation, noting that he has personally visited the site to assess the conditions.

The minister assured that repairs will commence immediately upon the issuance of the LOA, with the work expected to be completed within a week. This expedited timeline is intended to ensure that the roads are safe, smooth, and fully operational ahead of the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations, underscoring the ministry's commitment to road safety.

Nanta further stated that his ministry will closely supervise the repair work to ensure adherence to specifications and timelines, making it clear that any delays or non-compliance will not be tolerated. The road conditions gained public attention after a Facebook post by Galas state assemblyman, Datuk Mohd Syahbuddin Hashim, highlighted public frustration over the issue on February 20.
