Level One Hot Weather Alert Issued for Perak, Pahang, and Sarawak

Kuala lumpur: Level One or alert-level hot weather conditions have been identified in several regions across Peninsular Malaysia and Sarawak, as reported by the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia).

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia announced the affected areas in the peninsula include Kampar in Perak, as well as Maran and Rompin in Pahang. In Sarawak, the regions experiencing the alert are Marudi, Mukah, Sibu, Kanowit, Sarikei, Sri Aman, Lundu, Bau, and Kuching.

MetMalaysia explained that the Level One alert corresponds to a daily maximum temperature ranging from 35 to 37 degrees Celsius sustained over at least three consecutive days. This alert aims to inform and prepare residents in these areas for the hot weather conditions.
