Labuan Vocational College Dorm Completed Early In Major Milestone

Labuan: The RM11.2 million repair and maintenance project for blocks A and B of the girls' dormitory, along with related works at the Labuan Vocational College, has been completed almost a year ahead of schedule. Labuan Public Works Department (PWD) director Mohd Faizul Ali Hanapiah announced this significant development, highlighting the project's early completion.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the project included the construction of 32 bedrooms for 128 students and two wardens' quarters. Mohd Faizul Ali Hanapiah emphasized that the completion of the project 336 days ahead of schedule is a testament to efficient project management. He attributed this success to the close and continuous monitoring by the Labuan PWD team.

'This is a historic achievement for Labuan development projects,' he said. In addition to this project, he noted that overall, five education maintenance projects valued at RM37.4 million have been approved in Labuan, with the majority already completed and handed over.
