Labuan: The Labuan Media Practitioner Association (LMPA) and local village heads were treated to a special ‘Iftar’ at a leading hotel in Labuan tonight, ahead of Hari Raya Aidilfitri. The event, organized by Labuan Member of Parliament, Datuk Dr Suhaili Abdul Rahman, aimed to honor the contributions of media practitioners and village heads in the community.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, attendees of the gathering were presented with hampers filled with Raya cookies and gifts, which were personally contributed by Dr Suhaili. The MP emphasized that the event served as a gesture of appreciation for the media’s role in information dissemination and the village heads’ dedication to their communities.

Dr Suhaili highlighted the importance of the media and village heads in fostering community harmony and disseminating vital information. He expressed gratitude for their hard work and dedication in serving the Labuan community. ‘This is a small token of appreciation for their tireless efforts,’ he stated, acknowledging the essential roles they play in society.
