Kuala Lumpur City FC Secures Second Place in Super League After Triumph Over Melaka FC

Kuala lumpur: Kuala Lumpur (KL) City FC rose to second in the Super League with 23 points after beating Melaka FC 3-0 in their Super League match at Hang Jebat Stadium, Krubong here tonight.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, KL City FC jumped into the lead early in the game with a goal by Victor Ruiz Abril in the seventh minute. The host team attempted to equalise shortly after in the tenth minute, but Juan Douglas Teles Da Silva’s shot hit the goalpost.

KL City FC managed to double their lead when Kpah Sean Sherman converted a penalty in the 16th minute. Despite efforts from both teams to score again, the scoreline remained the same until halftime.

In the second half, both teams continued their attempts to score, with several chances thwarted by the goalpost. KL City FC’s final goal came when Lambert Ryan Edward Lee Kit Seng tucked in a cross by Mohamad Kamal Azizi Mohamad Zabri in the 78th minute.
