K’tan Kite Fest: Traffic Dispersal From May 21

Bachok: The 42nd Kelantan International Kite Festival, scheduled from May 21 to 24 at Pantai Irama in Bachok, will implement coordinated traffic management plans to ensure smooth travel and visitor safety.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Bachok district police chief Supt Mohamad Ismail Jamaluddin announced that access to the festival will be controlled, with a single entry route and an exit route situated behind Tadika Azkia and the KFC restaurant.

He has urged the public to plan their journeys carefully and follow traffic regulations to minimize congestion and facilitate a seamless event experience. “The public is advised to use the alternative routes recommended by the authorities to ensure the safety and comfort of all parties,” Supt Mohamad Ismail Jamaluddin stated in a recent announcement.

The festival is an annual event that attracts both local and international kite enthusiasts. It is expected to draw thousands of visitors to Pantai Irama, a notable tourist destination in Bachok.
