KPDN Urges Transport Firms to Register Vehicles for RON95 Subsidy

Kuala lumpur: The Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry has called on public transport and goods transport companies to register their vehicles under the Subsidised Petrol Control System (SKPS) to avail themselves of the RON95 petrol subsidy.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, as of the latest update, a total of 1,790 companies from the public and goods transport sectors have submitted their applications for the SKPS between September 15 and yesterday. Among these, 164 companies have successfully completed their registration, covering a total of 249 vehicles. This includes 103 companies from the public transport sector with 106 vehicles and 61 companies from the goods transport sector with 143 vehicles.

Previously, KPDN had estimated that approximately 100,000 vehicles nationwide, belonging to public and goods transport companies, are eligible to apply for the SKPS registration to benefit from the RON95 subsidy. The ministry has encouraged eligible companies to register through their dedicated portal at https://mysubsidi.kpdn.gov.my.
