Kuala lumpur: The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) is set to roll out 269 series of the Back-to-School MADANI Rahmah Sales Programme (PJRM) 2026 across the nation from December 20 to January 11. Minister Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali detailed that the initiative will see participation from 174 supermarkets, shopping malls, and clothing stores, offering both on- and off-premises sales.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the programme will coincide with the school holidays, providing discounts ranging between 10 and 30 percent below current market prices for school necessities. The discounts will cover 45 to 80 stock keeping units (SKUs), including items such as school uniforms, shoes, bags, and stationery.

The public is encouraged to check the PJRM calendar for detailed information on the dates and locations of the back-to-school programme. Additionally, Minister Armizan highlighted that the MADANI government has earmarked RM300 million under Budget 2026 for the Payung RAHMAH initiative, which encompasses the national organisation of PJRM. Efforts will be made to enhance the programme’s reach, including expanding delivery methods and target audiences.
